This diagram illustrates the branchings of resistance strategies, which the Crimean Tatar people have adopted between the revolution of 1905 and present day, highlighting six main ways to build a decolonial future, present and past.
Despite their formal character, these categories demonstrate the necessity of various resistance strategies. Intersecting and enabling each other, they cannot be substituted for one another – protests cannot work in the same way as lobbying and day-to-day outreach work. These categories operate on several temporal planes simultaneously, thus forewarning us against searching for cause-effect relationships before them.
To navigate chose a section, from which I would like to start. In each category, you will see a branch next to the text. If you click on it, it will show the branching of this point into a resistance tactics from another section. Thus you would be able to read about resistance strategies, both relying on the set frameworks and following the connections between them.
